Hello, “Lilacs&Lace” readers and followers! Today, instead of the usual “Sunday Sales” (which I only do once in a while, due to my schedule and the fact that sales last usually over a few weeks), I decided to feature another outfit post that just so happens to be one of my favorite outfits that I’ve posted here on the blog!
How cute is this romper?! Seriously, as you know, I’m not the biggest romper fan (in fact, I only have two in my closet), due to my body shape and pickiness when it comes to clothes and how they fit on my hourglass figure, but this one was irresistible.
I got it on sale a few months back, and since then, I’ve been finding excuses to wear it! On a hot day a month or so ago, I decided that it was the perfect day to wear it! Ironically, we shot it in the location that the local farmer’s market was at while they set up. Thankfully, a majority of the vendors weren’t there yet, so we could take our time and stroll around the pavilion and park, enjoying the weather and snapping pictures while doing so.
Some other things that I love about this romper is the bright colors- the purple, red, orange, and yellow hues in the floral patterns really catches the eye, but not so much that it’s hard to look at, and the fabric is thin, making it perfect for the spring and summer months! An added bonus was the deep v-neck front (the back also featured a v cut out), which featured a button, so it allowed you to choose between showing some skin, or keeping your outfit more conservative. The little almost ruched fabric at the bottom added a cute little feminine feel to it, too. It could be dressed up and sexy for a night out or dressed down for a busy day! For me, I decided to take a more casual/girly approach by pairing it with my favorite black lace up heels. These florals really helped me give one last “hoorah” before fall! What do you think?!
