Hello, readers! I cannot believe 2016 is almost upon us- just about 30 more hours and we will be in a new year! With Christmas in the books, and me already planning to post tomorrow for NYE, I couldn’t let myself get away with not having posted a Christmas outfit post!
With that in mind, Mackenzie and I packed my car up and headed to Carson Park to shoot some pictures near the now nearly-frozen Half Moon Lake!
For our NYE shoot, Mackenzie had really jumped right in (which makes me happy), and had researched and chosen the Rod and Gun Club. But, unfortunately, we received the wrong address, and had to shoot out on a country road in Seymour.
So, after I realized that we had instead been meaning to find the Rod and Gun Park (they’re two different things- even the website said so!), we set out to go there. On a second stroke of bad luck, much of the park was buried in snow, and the stairs leading down to the pond that the park was on were closed. We instead decided to Carson Park, and as I said in the second paragraph, that is where we finally got to take some pictures! This was my Christmas sweater, and would be the closest to an “ugly Christmas sweater” I will probably ever purchase!
I loved the print on this sweater, and the catchy saying on it really caught my eye! It provided for a comfy Christmas and I even received some laughs and jokes made by family members because of it! What was your g0-to Christmas outfit/sweater?
