Winter Workout (Part 1): The Blues

Hello, readers! For me, health is one of the most important things in my life. Being a college student, it can be hard to make it to the gym, especially with my busy schedule and the cold weather. But, with some great workout clothes, I must say, it makes it much easier to get some exercise in while flaunting them.

Mackenzie wanted me to do a workout series, so for today’s post, the first part of a three part series featuring some of my favorite exercise outfits, I decided to do an all blue theme. After all, blue is my favorite color!

We shot these photos a while ago, having dodged the snow to get the perfect pics!

Blooper: Mackenzie told me to do a high kick and this is what I did. My hamstrings are not that flexible, and I’m working on making my leg muscles more flexible, so I tried!

I love this outfit! The leggings (gifted by my wonderful parents), are so warm and the little swoosh of blue and the white stripes on the bottom of the legs are so fun. The fabric of the jacket is moisture-wicking and it won’t irritate your skin by causing chaffing, perfect for soaking up some sweat after a long workout! After some haggling, I decided to get a phone sleeve, so I could enjoy some hands-free music while I do my thing. I love it! I also decided to pair it with a blue v-neck shirt that I had also gotten from my parents below, and a blue sports bra! I’d say, my parents know my taste so well! What do you think?

Jacket: JCPenney (available in 5 colors) // Shirt: gifted (from VS PINK– available in 10 colors!) // Sports Bra: VS PINK // Phone Sleeve: Best Buy // Leggings: VS PINK // Shoes: Shopko (unavailable online, Nike brand)
