Persephone

Well, now that it is officially fall here, I find myself holding onto the idea of summer. One way I know how to do that is with my wardrobe, especially when it comes to the blog. I like to get all the outfits in, before it grows too cold and snowy (as usual, I will be taking a small hiatus from the blog, but will be posting outfits less frequently). So, this outfit is the perfect representation of the spring and summer seasons, and serves as a good start to my goodbye to summer.

I think it’s no secret that for me, spring and summertime means flowers and pretty skirts. This outfit not only features my favorite lace romper, but I also decided to pair it with my pink pleated maxi skirt, making me feel like a goddess. What better of a goddess than Persephone, the goddess of flowers and spring growth? Now when summer grows into fall, and then fall grows into winter, I will not forget to always express my inner Persephone.
