Hello, readers! For today, I have a very special post for you all. For me, and I’m sure for other bloggers, I love to have guests on my blog. It’s not only fun for me, but it gives you all a chance to meet people who are special to me and adds variety to my posts (after all, I don’t mind sharing the spotlight once in a while ;)). So, without further adieu…
Hello readers! I’m back for another post! Before you all get into it, I know, radio silence sucks. I want to apologize, as I’ve been busy with work, school, sorority, and many personal issues that have pulled my attention away from the blog. But, not to fear! Mackenzie and I have continued on and have shot even more outfits, which we cannot wait to share with you!
I don’t know if you’ve noticed this, but I’m a huge fan of skirts, particularly skater skirts that have a lot of color. I noticed that, while it’s not officially fall yet, our summertime is almost over, which also means that my time to wear my summer wardrobe is also running out. With that in mind, I decided to introduce you all to this lovely skirt that has graced my wardrobe.
What’s your favorite clothing item? A pair of distressed jeans, a comfy sweater, or maybe even a cute little crop top? Everyone has their favorite clothes, clothes that they can’t get enough of. For me, that would be dresses and skirts.
It’s no lie that I love to frolic around in skirts and dresses, which is why today’s post should be no surprise. Continue reading
Saturday, July 16th was the third and final day of Rock Fest 2016, but I must say, it was a day full of memories.
Waking up on Saturday, myself and my group that I went with couldn’t wait to hit the road, but, we (my parents and I) had a special occasion to attend first: a wedding of a family friend!
One of my favorite parts of Rock Fest is the weather, and despite the dreary, rainy weather that welcomed us to Rock Fest day 1, day 2 was way better! The sun was shining, and it was a toasty day that matched the set list for that day.
Hello, readers! Every year, at least for the past 4 years, I have accompanied my uncles, dad, brother, and friend, Mackenzie, to the best festival all year: Rock Fest. Rock Fest, which happens in July of every year in the small Wisconsin town of Cadott, brings together a very large group of rock fans (we consider each other a ‘family’), some from all parts of the U.S., for 3 days of amazing food, music, and memories. It’s no secret that I, a die hard rocker thanks to my father raising me on Rock N’ Roll music, love Rock Fest- I hold a countdown for it every year! I did, however, notice that, in all my years of going to Rock Fest, I had failed to ever document it and chronicle the festival on the blog. I wondered why hadn’t I chronicled my time at such an amazing festival and weekend, one that I call the best time of the year? After finding out that I really had no excuse not to document it, I decided that it would finally make it to the blog. So, let’s get to it!
Day one of Rock Fest 2016 was a pretty rainy one, if I remember correctly. When we were just pulling in to the festival grounds, although pretty late into the day already (the daily lineup started at around 11 that day, we didn’t get there until around 3:30) the rain started, and didn’t stop for hours. It did, however, make me feel better that I heard Nothing More and even saw a few of their songs during our rainy walk. Continue reading
Hello, readers! I’m sorry about the radio silence- my stock pile of blog posts have been running low, so I’ve tried to stretch them out and make them last as long as possible! Since I can only see my photographer, Mackenzie, once in a while, we have to carefully plan each blog shoot, and I plan when to post it. With the limited time we always have, and the distance, I have been trying to brainstorm some solutions, and I will let you know if I have one! But, for now, let’s move on to the post.
For today’s post, I am featuring probably my favorite romper in my closet at this moment- my lace romper! For me, summer is all about dresses and rompers, really anything to keep me nice and cool in the sweltering heat! Continue reading
Happy Monday, readers! It’s another start to a beautiful and sunny week here in Winona before we head into the pre-holiday weekend! For me, a staple during these hot summer months are maxi skirts. They are feminine, fun, and perfect to keep you cool while you look absolutely adorable in them.
For today’s post, this pleated maxi skirt definitely had to be featured. Its lightweight, flowing, and soft fabric not only help me remain neutral with temperature, it is perfect for any occasion. When the wind catches it, it billows out and looks so beautiful, making me feel absolutely flawless in it. It’s perfect for twirling! Continue reading
Happy Tuesday, readers! I hope all of your weeks have been good so far. My week has been filled with work, but thankfully I get to end this week (hopefully) going to Steamboat Days, which is this carnival/festival that happens here annually in Winona.
For me, one of the best things about summer (aside from the beach, sun, and break from school) is the beautiful flowers that seem to bloom every year. No matter where I turn, I see color from the most beautiful of flowers. S0, with that in mind, I decided to feature one of my favorite special occasion outfits that features none other than a beautiful floral pattern.
