Happy Monday, readers! It’s another start to a beautiful and sunny week here in Winona before we head into the pre-holiday weekend! For me, a staple during these hot summer months are maxi skirts. They are feminine, fun, and perfect to keep you cool while you look absolutely adorable in them.
For today’s post, this pleated maxi skirt definitely had to be featured. Its lightweight, flowing, and soft fabric not only help me remain neutral with temperature, it is perfect for any occasion. When the wind catches it, it billows out and looks so beautiful, making me feel absolutely flawless in it. It’s perfect for twirling! Continue reading
Happy Tuesday, readers! I hope all of your weeks have been good so far. My week has been filled with work, but thankfully I get to end this week (hopefully) going to Steamboat Days, which is this carnival/festival that happens here annually in Winona.
For me, one of the best things about summer (aside from the beach, sun, and break from school) is the beautiful flowers that seem to bloom every year. No matter where I turn, I see color from the most beautiful of flowers. S0, with that in mind, I decided to feature one of my favorite special occasion outfits that features none other than a beautiful floral pattern.
Happy humpday, readers! Today is the first of two days off I have per week from both of my jobs, which I’m very thankful for. Another thing I’m thankful for is today’s weather- rain and thunderstorms coming! I myself love thunderstorms; they’re so comforting to watch and listen to! It makes for a relaxing day off, where I planned on staying inside, enjoying some Netflix, reading, and later on, going to my first Zumba class of the summer! The third thing that makes for a great day off of work is one of my favorite hobbies: posting to the blog!
For today’s post, I decided to feature a boho dress that I purchased at a thrift store. Though some people swear off thrift stores, I love them! They’re the perfect place to find some really good pieces at amazing prices. Continue reading
Happy Thursday night, everyone! Right now, I’m sitting in my super comfy nightgown (don’t judge) and eating a brownie (again, don’t judge) while writing this post. I know it’s late at night (at least to some of you), but to the Night Owl that I am, this is the time where I’m getting laundry done after a long day of work. I also just couldn’t wait to share this post, and since I promised that I’d post it today, here it is!
As I’ve repeated and declared multiple times, I LOVE sequins- they’re just so fun and eye-catching for me. Continue reading
Hello, everyone! I hope you all are having wonderful weekend thus far! For me, my month-long winter break was very well-needed for me, filled with family, friends, and celebrations. Unfortunately, it’s coming to an end, as I’m starting class again on Monday!
For today’s post, I’m featuring my second-part and outfit featuring my favorite leopard print leggings!
Modcloth is one of those shops where some things are a bit pricey, but others can be great deals. Their clothes are very cute and feminine, perfect for my daydreams of spring (I know- it’s only January).
One thing I know is, when spring does eventually come, I know I will be shopping at Modcloth for the perfect, feminine spring wardrobe filled with frilly dresses and skirts!
Happy New Years Eve, everyone! My year had a lot of ups and downs (more downs), filled with school, work, and sorority. But, with the New Year, comes new opportunities and a fresh start. Just remember that you need to keep fighting when you think things are going bad; there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, you are not alone!
Moving on, for NYE this year, I decided to dress up like everyone else. Despite staying home for a quiet celebration with my parents, I still loved being able to get all glammed up and twirl around in the snow. Mackenzie had originally jumped in and chose the Rod and Gun Club for our shoot (mistakenly, she meant the Rod and Deer Park, which is different than the club), and we ended up going to the wrong place! With it starting to snow, we decided to just pull over and shoot right then and there!
Though it was very cold and windy, I think that the snow definitely added something to the pictures! I chose to feature three dresses instead of one, since I couldn’t choose!
Hello, readers! I cannot believe 2016 is almost upon us- just about 30 more hours and we will be in a new year! With Christmas in the books, and me already planning to post tomorrow for NYE, I couldn’t let myself get away with not having posted a Christmas outfit post!
With that in mind, Mackenzie and I packed my car up and headed to Carson Park to shoot some pictures near the now nearly-frozen Half Moon Lake! Continue reading
Hello, readers! I hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas Eve with your families! I’m sorry for the back stock of outfits- I stock up a bit too much despite how much I plan on! I’m hoping that soon, I will be featuring winter clothes! Plus, there’s not much snow in EC anyway!
Anyway, for today’s post, I chose an outfit featuring my favorite vest that I got from StitchFix! Continue reading
