Fall, like every other season, signals change and transition. As summer turns to fall, we see the transition from the season of warmer weather and days spent at the beach, to the season coined “sweater weather”, with Mother Nature herself showing off her beauty by the changing leaves.
Aside from the changing colors of the leaves, one thing that fall certainly brings, are sunflowers. In peak season during the fall months, these flowers are the perfect fall staple. What is a better way to welcome the arrival of my favorite season than to be surrounded by sunflowers?!
Hello, readers! Long time, no see! I know this happens a lot with me, but I’m sorry for the lack of posts lately! With my tripod having broken and a busy schedule with finals (which are FINALLY over- thank god!) and work, it has been hard for me to find time to do more blog photoshoots and whatnot. But, I’m back! For today’s post, I’m throwing it back all the way to homecoming weekend, 2017, which happened all the way back in October. Though there were many activities and the like on the itinerary I made (yes, I am an uber planner), the place my bestie and photographer, Kenzie, and I were most excited to visit was Kinstone Megalitic Garden!
Hello, readers! It’s been a long time since I’ve been on the blog (I apologize- my life has been hectic with work and school lately), but I’m back now, AND I have a new blog post for you!
As I’m sure you all know, I am a huge fan of black. Black is such a good color that can complement any skin color, outfit, and body type. Though usually my outfit posts consist of pops of color and a lot of patterns, I like to throw in some black once in awhile. Not to mention, a fair amount of my wardrobe consists of black clothing! From coats, to shirts, to leggings, to dresses, I am sure you’ll find all kinds of black clothes in my closet.
Hello, readers! I hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas Eve with your families! I’m sorry for the back stock of outfits- I stock up a bit too much despite how much I plan on! I’m hoping that soon, I will be featuring winter clothes! Plus, there’s not much snow in EC anyway!
Anyway, for today’s post, I chose an outfit featuring my favorite vest that I got from StitchFix! Continue reading
Hello, readers! I’m sorry for the radio silence and the lack of “Wednesday Wants” post yesterday- I had work until 10 and by the time I got back to my room, I was pretty tired and decided to give myself a break from the blog posts for a night. For today’s post, I am featuring a cardigan that I am so happy to have in my closet!
The pattern of it has sharp shapes, such as diamonds, dots, and arrows. The pattern, along with the embroidered back, really pulls some attention to the outfit. Continue reading
Hello, readers! It’s Friday-yay! I hope everyone’s week went well, and I’m happy to say that it is officially the start of my month-long Winter Break! As I’ve probably explained before, I’m not like other fashion bloggers, with a SO or photographer who lives with/near them and is in contact with them for daily photoshoots. In fact, my friend who does my photography/editing for my blog lives in Eau Claire (my hometown) and goes to UWEC while I’m here in Winona, attending WSU. So, with the hour and a half distance between us on top of school and work schedules, it is obvious to say that we cannot unfortunately meet up every day to do daily outfit shoots. Whenever I’m home, we get together at least for a day and shoot a series of outfits to kind of “stock up” for the coming weeks where I won’t be returning home. I try to space posts out so that I don’t daily post something and run out of the outfits quickly within a week, so that’s why I don’t post daily and am a bit behind on posts. It should be better this summer, since I’m moving back home for financial and personal reasons! So, if you ever wonder why it’s in the middle of winter, let’s say, and my posts are of fall outfits with no snow in sight, that’s why. In a way, I kind of like it this way, because it sets me apart from other fashion bloggers… Anyway, on to the post!
For this outfit, I paired a shirt I had gifted to me by one of my sorority sisters (thanks again!) with a pair of newer, super comfy high-waisted jeggings I have. Continue reading
Hello, readers! How is everyone’s week going? Mine’s going decent, just a little stressed because next week is finals week here at WSU! But that’s okay, because once I’m done studying and doing my exams, it’s time for a break from school for a whole month! Oh, the joys of college.
Moving on, for today’s post I decided to share the last outfit I wore on the weekend of my birthday. I’ve never really been a big orange person, but I’m so glad I bought this shirt! It features some adorable floral leggings, cognac riding boots, and an orange sweater with a precious lace hem (my favorite!). Continue reading
Hello, everyone! I hope your Monday is going well, and, if you’re like me, you have a relatively laid-back week. Today, I’m sharing with you one of the last outfits that I wore on the weekend of my birthday.
But first, let’s be honest here. In case you haven’t noticed, I don’t own the most expensive of clothes. Unlike many other fashion bloggers, who have sponsors and more money to spend on nicer, more expensive clothes, I am a college student, with a limited budget. I know that my clothes reflect on this, and trust me, I’d love to have enough money to be able to buy a $300 dress, or an $80 shirt, but that’s not going to happen anytime soon. It is hard sometimes, seeing other fashion bloggers wearing nice, more expensive clothes, but I will not stop sharing my love for fashion just because I cannot afford the most high-end of clothes. Please understand that I am always looking for sponsors/collaborations to help bring my blog more up-to-par and stay trendy. But, anyway, moving on…
This shirt I’m wearing in this outfit was one of the ones that once I saw it, I had to have it. I love the olivey green of it (there’s not a lot of it in my closet, so it’s a welcome change), and I love it how the sleeves and back is patterned, standing out from the rest of the shirt. I think it adds a cute little twist to the fall outfit.
Hello, readers! I hope your week is going great! Mine’s busy with work and school, but it’s almost done! Speaking of almost done, I cannot believe that this year is already almost done! It seems like just yesterday, it was New Years! Time flies.
Anyway, for today’s post, I decided to share another outfit I wore for my birthday weekend. Continue reading
