Hello, “Lilacs&Lace” readers and followers! I hope so far, your week is going great! Just remember, tomorrow is FRIDAY! I know for me, I have a busy weekend ahead of me with classes tomorrow, work on Saturday, and sorority stuff on Sunday, but that’s alright with me. Why, you may ask? Because I’m planning a special Valentine’s blog post with my photographer, Mackenzie! Though we don’t have all the details ironed out, but I promise, it will be awesome!
Moving on, for today’s post, I’m featuring the second outfit (out of three) of my “Winter Workout” series! It features one of my favorite shirts (with a built-in sports bra!) and some awesome galaxy pants! After all, who doesn’t love some awesome patterns in their workout wardrobe to help get them hyped up for a workout?!
Happy 2016, readers! I can’t believe that in March, “Lilacs&Lace” will be 1 year old and it will be my 3-year blogging anniversary in February! Though I’ve made frequent changes in blog sites, I definitely think that “Lilacs&Lace” is here to stay!

I love leopard print (it is a frequent part of my closet and outfits), it is so feminine and beautiful.I think it adds a little fun element to any outfit, and it could be worn for nearly any occasion! For me (and maybe even for everyone), springtime/summer fashion is all about the bright colors. When I saw these adorable blue splatter leggings at JCPenney’s, I fell in love. They weren’t too bright and flashy, but I have always loved the splatter pattern, and they are pretty unique, which just screams “Cassy”! It’s very cute, unique, and unpredictable pattern! Plus, it has my two favorite colors in it: blue and purple! These leggings add a fun little flare to any outfit, and can be worn while going on a stroll, spending a day with friends, or anything else really.
Speaking of another thing I love… How cute is this lace tank?! I seriously love lace (you have no idea), and it’s a fabric that has been in style for years, and it will continue to be in style for years to come. Continue reading
