Today, I’m sharing the second part of my two-part feature of my favorite bra, the push up from Victoria’s Secret PINK’s “The Date” Collection. As I mentioned earlier, I love this bra because of the sexy back and the vibrant colors. Plus, I’m a sucker for lace.
So, with that being said, I returned to Putnam Trail in Eau Claire to shoot the second outfit incorporating this bra! Continue reading
Hello, “Lilacs&Lace” readers! I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend! Mine is pretty packed with work, sorority, and volunteering, but I’m trying to make the best of it!
Tonight, I decided to post the first of a two-part series featuring Victoria’s Secret’s new “Date Racerback Push Up Bra” from their Date Collection. Continue reading
As a person who works out 3-5 times a week (depending on my work and class schedules), and someone who suffers from IBS, I know how important exercise can be, both for my physical and mental health. Exercise is a way to keep your body and spirit healthy, the best that it could be. Exercise is also a good stress reliever, so I try to have fun with it by going to fitness classes offered her on campus, such as Butt n Gut, Zumba, and Yoga. It’s a good way to add a healthy variety to your workouts (studies show it’s better that way), and to actually enjoy working out with a great group of girls.
One very important part of exercise for women is a sports bra. Continue reading
I’m so excited to share today’s post with you guys! For starters, I won this amazing Cinda B tote from a giveaway that Belle de Couture was hosting (thanks again!), and ever since it arrived in the mail, I have been trying to find an excuse to use it!
I love the colors of it, and the pattern is TO DIE FOR! It’s perfect for spring and summer, because the colors are such a beautiful, bright scheme. Continue reading
More lace for you guys! Shocking, right?! I shot this outfit quite a while ago (around the end of May), but due to a busy work schedule and a lot of traveling within the past month, I wasn’t able to organize the post and the works.
This shirt (also featured here) is definitely one of my favorites. I pulled it out of my closet and thought, “why have I not worn this yet?”. It’s perfect for me, because as I’ve probably said a million times before, I love lace.
Hello, “Lilacs&Lace” readers/followers! I’m sorry for the hiatus between blog posts! Unfortunately, due to my work schedule, I have been too busy to return home to Eau Claire, which is where my friend (and amateur photographer) Mackenzie is. I take a lot of time planning these posts out, and a lot of effort goes into them. This planning includes: choosing the outfit, accessories, hairstyle, and makeup, as well as picking the days and locations of the shoots. The last part of the planning would be choosing the post’s name and date of when it will be posted. Because of the lack of posts I’ve had lined up, and the fact that I don’t have the time, money, or resources to post everyday, I planned these posts (along with the past posts) accordingly so they weren’t so clustered together, with weeks of very few posts going on.
Okay, now that we have that out of the way, on to the post! As you can tell by my blog’s name, I’m kind of a fan of lace. To me, lace has always been one of my go-to choices in clothing. I always said I should’ve been born earlier, and I think my taste in clothes really supports that theory. Continue reading
Today, I’m sharing with you one of my casual looks for summer. I love crop tops, they’re literally probably one of my favorite pieces of clothing in my closet at this time. Though I only have a few (I think I have 4?), I plan on adding so many more of these babies in the months to come!
Not only are they super cute, but they add a little sexiness to any outfit, and they are very functional in these hot summer months! I love this particular crop top because it is both floral (love!) and it has cut outs (extra love!), so clearly, this top is completely up my alley. Continue reading
For me (and maybe even for everyone), springtime/summer fashion is all about the bright colors. When I saw these adorable blue splatter leggings at JCPenney’s, I fell in love. They weren’t too bright and flashy, but I have always loved the splatter pattern, and they are pretty unique, which just screams “Cassy”! It’s very cute, unique, and unpredictable pattern! Plus, it has my two favorite colors in it: blue and purple! These leggings add a fun little flare to any outfit, and can be worn while going on a stroll, spending a day with friends, or anything else really.
Speaking of another thing I love… How cute is this lace tank?! I seriously love lace (you have no idea), and it’s a fabric that has been in style for years, and it will continue to be in style for years to come. Continue reading
Outtakes. Every blog post has them. Yes, no matter what, every blog photo shoot has their pictures, where the blogger is laughing, making a weird face, or whatever that they cut out from the original post.
But, since I just love outtakes so much, here’s the outtakes for “Pastels, Bolds, Spice, and Everything Nice”! Continue reading
